My dear friends and readers:
With the start of the new school year here in the Heartland, I’ve been running pretty hard getting my rental properties cleaned up, performing repairs, and the myriad other activities being Mr. Landlord requires. Sometimes I meet myself coming back the other way from Home Depot; other times I find myself at the tool truck trying to figure out why I am there. The relentless August heat and humidity doesn’t make things any easier. This has restricted my time on the blogs for the last couple of weeks, but I do try to put in an honest hour over breakfast reading the posts and comment threads of my compatriots. Rest assured this too shall pass and I’ll be back in good form soon. In the meantime, here is a thread to keep in touch. Thank you all for your forbearance.
